About Write-A-Check (WAC) Fundraiser
At CRE, we endeavor to provide the best tools and equipment for our students, teachers and staff toward their continued success. Canyon Ranch Elementary School is the largest elementary school in the Coppell ISD (CISD) with a population of approximately 700 students and 85 teachers and personnel.

With CISD budget constraints, the CRE PTO steps in to ensure no students or teachers misses out on the essentials. Our school tax dollars go to CISD, however CISD has limited local control over how much of our tax revenue can be spent on our students. 

The Write-A-Check (WAC) fundraiser is one of the simplest and most impactful ways you can directly make a difference to the CRE School Community!

Does the WAC donations help the school?

100% of WAC donations stay at CRE for the enrichment of our school. PTO uses our annual WAC fundraising donations throughout the school year to help pay for:

Student Enrichment Programs  Classroom Grants  Benevolence Grants  STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Equipment  Red Ribbon Week (Anti-Bullying Campaign)  Holiday Class Parties  Staff Hospitality  Teacher Appreciation Week  5th Grade Graduation  School Wide Events (Trunk-or-Treat, Color Run, and Field Day)

Suggested Donations to CRE PTO

While we recommend a $50 donation per child, we understand and appreciate every contribution, large or small. Every dollar works towards enriching the future of our students. Your WAC donations is tax-deductible.
