Our CRE Library is transforming into a world of discovery! The Book Fair runs from February 12th–19th, with setup taking place on February 11th. Our wonderful librarian is always so grateful for this community and is looking for volunteers to help bring the magic to life for our learners.

There are so many ways to get involved: help students find their next favorite story, assist with checkout, or join the "behind-the-scenes" crew for setup. Your support is what makes this event truly magical for our children!

We are reaching out for assistance with our Blue, Green, and Purple Houses, as these groups still have several available positions. Additionally, we are seeking more partners for our Red, Yellow, and Orange Houses to ensure that every child has an enjoyable celebration. The only requirement is your presence. Whether you lead a simple game or assist with a craft, your time and energy contribute to creating a memorable day for the children.

Mark your calendars! Family Engagement Night is on Thursday, February 19th, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity to interact as a school community and enjoy some quality family time. When you arrive, you'll receive a map to guide you through a variety of fun, teacher-led stations, including

• Interactive Games and Literacy Activities

• STEAM activities and Make-and-Take Projects

We can't wait to see our CRE families together for an evening of learning and laughter.

On March 6th, our pre-k friends will experience a large petting zoo that will include sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, a mini horse, a mini donkey, a pig, and an ALPACA! Don’t spill the beans; let your kids get a BIG surprise!! 

Get ready for a day full of color, smiles, and school spirit! Our CRE Color Run is a fun, non-competitive walk or run where kids wear white and get splashed with bright, joyful colors along the way. Whether they walk, run, dance, or skip, every child gets to be part of the excitement.

Parents, this is more than just fun: every Color Run T-shirt purchased helps support CRE student enrichment programs and events. Let’s make March 13, 2026, a colorful celebration for our Coyotes.

The Cowboys United Community Education Summit takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 5:30–7 p.m. at Canyon Ranch Elementary Cafeteria. This community feedback event offers families the opportunity to share their voice and help shape the future of education in Coppell ISD. Your input matters as we work to prepare students for life after graduation—college, technical training, military service, or the workforce.

From pre-K through fifth grade and every class in between, this yearbook captures the moments, friendships, and milestones that made this school year special. This yearbook serves as a treasured memento that your child, particularly our fifth graders, will cherish long after their elementary school journey concludes.

If your child has a birthday coming up, you can submit a Birthday Marquee request! To ensure we display your child’s special message on time, CRE staff ask for at least two weeks’ notice.
